I live on the Isle of Wight and am inspired by the beauty of the sea in all its changing moods.
I admire clean lines and elegant shapes and I strive to make jewellery that is bold and modern.
Interesting colours, shapes and textures appeal to me. Sometimes I give the metal an organic, crinkly surface by heating it to a very high temperature until the surface just starts to melt. For colour I then apply powdered enamels and fire the piece in my kiln.
I believe that discovering new ways to express one’s creativity through one’s chosen craft is a joyful and life affirming activity.
